PURPOSE:To compact the whole of an engine, by a method wherein the vertical axis of an engine is inclined sideways, the upper and the under surface of the engine are formed in parallel to each other and horizontally, and auxiliary devices are respectively situated in spaces partitioned in the upper and the lower part of each of both sides of the engine. CONSTITUTION:An engine generator is formed such that an engine 2 and a generator are intercoupled at the front and the rear, and is mounted in an absorbing chamber 10. In this case, in the engine 2, its vertical axis 14, i.e. an axis through which to intercouple the central part of an engine bottom 15 and the upper central part of a cylinder head 13 is outwardly inclined from below toward above. The bottom 15 is inclined based on the vertical axis 14 to form it in a horizontal manner, and an upper surface part 13c of the cylinder head 13 is also formed in parallel to the bottom 15. An oil filter 35 and an exhaust pipe 29 are disposed in spaces 37 and 40, respectively, formed with a vertical surface 36, lines with the upper outer edge of the engine 2, a vertical surface 39, lines with the side edge part of the bottom 15, and the engine 2. |
