PURPOSE:To prevent the titled device from adverse influence based on the difference of transmission delay errors by adjusting either one of a transmission delay error in a force transmission system from a motor to a lens and a transmission delay error in a force transmission system from the motor to a position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The lens 11 is moved by the motor 10 in the optical axis direction (arrow A direction) and the position detecting means 12 for detecting the position of the lens 11 on the optical axis is driven by the motor 10. The quantity of an error in either one of transmission systems is adjusted so that a transmission delay error in the force transmission system from the motor 10 to the lens 11 and a transmission delays error in the force transmission system from the motor 10 to the means 12 are mutually absorbed. Consequently, the generation of adverse influence due to the transmission delay error in the transmission system can be prevented and the accurate focusing can be attained. |
