PURPOSE:To permit a wondering preventing function to coexist with a wear resisting property, by making a radius of curvature of a tread portion larger than that of a shoulder portion and making the tangential line of both the portions at the boundary of them different in a heavy-duty tire filled with air for a bus or the like. CONSTITUTION:A radius of curvature R1 in a tread area a is made larger than a radius of curvature R2 in a shoulder area b. Further, a tangential line A1 of the tread area a in the boundary A of the tread area and the shoulder area b is different from a tangential line B1 of the shoulder area b in the boundary a each other. In this case, the ratio R2/R1 of the radius of curvature R2 to the radius of curvature R1 is set at about 0.02-0.1. In addition, an angle between the tangential line A1 and the tangential line is about 15-40 deg.. With this arrangement, a wondering preventing function can coexist with a wear resisting property.
