PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coloring agent having low viscosity, and high carbon black content, in blending an oxidation and neutralization-treated carbon black, by subjecting the carbon black having pH not higher than a definite pH to oxidation treatment and further neutralization treatment with a liquid dispering medium in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The aimed black liquid coloring agent obtained by blending and kneading (A) 5-50wt% oxidation and neutralization-treated carbon black formed by blending a carbon black such as channel black, etc., having <=4.0pH as necessary with an aqueous medium, subjecting the blended to oxidation treatment by a peroxide such as hydrogen peroxide, ozone, etc., and neutralizing the treated carbon black with a neutralizing agent such as sodium hydroxide, etc., with (B) 95-50wt% liquid dispersing meidum such as adipic acid based liquid polyester, etc. A polyester fiber having desired black and freed from deterioration thereof and end breakage thereof is obtained by dope-dyening the polyester fiber with above-mentioned coloring agent. |
