PURPOSE:To prevent the dissipation of heat to the open air and to reduce the thickness of a heat insulating layer, by providing a combustion gas flow passage and an air flow passage between the flow passage of combustion gas generated and the open air and providing a flow passage between the air flow passage and a combustion apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Raw fuel to be reformed such as methane and steam are mixed to be supplied from a supply pipe 4 and introduced into a reaction tube. The raw fuel passes through the reforming catalyst 3 provided in the inner cylinder 1 and outer cylinder 2 of the reaction tube and, at the same time, receives heat from the combustion gas flowing outside the outer cylinder of the reaction tube to generate reforming reaction being endothermic reaction. The raw fuel passing through the reforming catalyst 3 flows through the inner cylinder 1 of the reaction tube to be discharged out of the reforming device from a discharge pipe 5. Air flows through a flow passage 15 and, at the same time, cools a flow passage guide 11 to rise in its temp. The air leaving the flow passage 15 flows through the space between the flow passage guide 11 and the container 10 in the reforming device to also cool said container 10. |
