PURPOSE:To shorten the read/write time of data and to improve the system processing efficiency by providing plural registers into a computer and then reading/writing the contents of a desired register via an interface after once writing the numbers of those registers. CONSTITUTION:A computer unit 1 contains a program counter 11, an arithmetic part 12, an instruction decoder 13 and a timing control part 14. The 1st and 2nd arithmetic registers 12A and 12B are provided to the part 12. At the same time, an address buffer 5 and a data buffer 6 including plural registers are connected to the unit 1. When read/write operations are carried out in this system, both registers 12A and 12B are used to once set the address numbers. In case of writing and reading, the contents of the register 12A are outputted and then the contents of the register 12B are outputted in the form of a pair of instructions. |
