Clutch disc, wherein side plates are provided on both sides of a flange portion of a spline hub with a friction facing attached to one of the side plates, torsion springs being fitted in the bores provided in a plurality of opposed sections of the flange portion and side plates, characterized in that the edge section of each of the bores which is on the side of the outer circumference of the flange portion is cut off with both end regions, which serve as spring end-engaging stopper portions, of the edge section left not cut off. According to the present invention, the quantity of inertia force of a clutch disc assembly becomes small. Accordingly, the speed change gear can be set in different positions easily, and the lifetime of the synchro-mesh clutch lengthens. The centrifugal force working on the torsion springs can be received at projections, so that factors preventing the operations of the torsion springs can be eliminated. This enables the torsion characteristics of the clutch disc during the rotation thereof to be stabilized. |
