German Utility Model 8617324 is already known, in the case of which a vertical water-supply-line portion (12) is arranged rotatably on a bridge part (10.2.2 at 26) of a drinking basin of the apparatus and, by means of a sleeve (18), which is mounted rotatably on it and is fixedly connected to the horizontal leg (20.2) of an elbow (20), is connected in an articulated manner to said elbow leg. The disadvantage with this is that the provision of two alternative possibilities for the connection of the known apparatus to a vertical water-supply-pipe (43), either from the top or the bottom, requires a relatively high degree of outlay in terms of manufacture and mounting. The object of the invention is thus to provide a similar apparatus with as few individual parts as possible, which can be assembled in a simple manner without thereby losing the advantage of connecting the apparatus to a pipe leading to it from the top or bottom. Said object is achieved in that the vertical water-supply-line portion (16), which is now arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the bridge part (12) of the drinking basin (10) is connected rigidly to the approximately horizontal leg (54) of the elbow (18). Advantageously, this eliminates the former possibility of the water-supply-line portion (16) rotating relative to the drinking basin, on the one hand, and to the elbow (20), on the other hand, with the result that construction and manufacture of the apparatus are simplified considerably. <IMAGE>
