LASER BEAM MACHINE EQUIPPED WITH DISTANCE SENSOR

PURPOSE:To eliminate the interference of a distance sensor and work at the time when a torch is inclined by fitting a distance sensor at the opposite side to a torch to the revolving part of the torch and reversing the radiation direction of the laser light for measurement emitted from a distance sensor and the radiation direction of the laser light for working emitted from a torch. CONSTITUTION:A torch 33 is fitted in the direction intersecting at right angles with a revolving axial line J3 to a 3rd revolving part 32 of a laser machine and a distance sensor 35 is fitted via a blacket 34 to the opposite side to the torch 33. The laser light H1 for measuring a distance projected from the distance sensor 35 and the laser light H2 for machining radiated from the torch 33 are arranged so as to attain on the same line in the opposite direction each other. The position in the vertical direction of the torch 33 is decided so that the distance between the working face of a work W and the distance sensor 35 may become constant by the distance signal transmitted from the distance sensor 35. The working program is automatically made by teaching the position of the distance sensor 35 corresponding to the corner part of the work W. With this mechanism the program for converting the coordinate can simply be made.
