The invention relates to a bulk commodity rail wagon having at each longitudinal end thereof a torsion box of generally triangular longitudinal cross-section wherein the inboard acute angled corner of the torsion box is truncated by a bulkhead having its upper and lower edges attached to the upper and lower sides of the torsion box respectively and having its lateral ends attached to the wagon body sides.
