PURPOSE:To attain quantitative appreciation of the completion degree of a sample program by forming a debuggig box counting and displaying the number of times of execution of respective program modules constituting the sample prograom. CONSTITUTION:A bus line 4 of a computer 1 is connected to an address recorder 71 and a data register 72 in the debugging box 7. Only when an appreciation statement 3 added to the sample program 2 is executed, the recorder 71 decodes the statement at the timing of an address strobing signal 5. The decoded signal 73 enables the data register 72 and is latched by the data register 72 at the timing of a data storobing signal 6. An encoder 74 encodes the latched signal and the encoded signal 75 counts up a module counter in the counter 76. The counted data 77 are outputted to a display 80 as data 79 through a display buffer 78. Thus, the quantitative appreciation of the sample program can be attained. |
