PURPOSE:To securely prevent exposure of a metal collecting body to a collector surface without increasing thickness or weight of the collector, by pressing a conductive plastic electrode plate into contact with a plastic back plate by heat in the state that a metal collecting body is interposed therebetween. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a metal collecting body 174 connected to an output terminal of a metal-halogen battery for collecting an electric output from the battery, a conductive plastic electrode plate 176 disposed on the side of the surface of battery electrolyte, and a plastic back plate 178 disposed on the side of another surface of the metal collecting body and composed of plastic having a flow property high than the plastic material of the conductive plastic plate. The conductive plastic electrode plate 176 and the plastic back plate 178 are formed by thermal pressing in the state that the metal collecting body 174 is interposed therebetween. With the arrangement, the metal collecting body does not expose on the conductive plastic electrode plate. |
