PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive body having an excellent photosensitivity at a long wavelength side, and capable of at all or almost not observing residual potential without generating deterioration, at the time of repeated use by using an image supporting body having surface roughness of 0.05-0.5mumS in case of visualizing by a developer at a vibrating electric field. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 1 is composed of a structure which is laminated a P-type electric charge blocking layer 44 composed of a-SiC:H heavy-doped with group IIIa elements of periodic table, an electric charge transfer layer 42 composed of a-SiC:H light-doped with group IIIa elements of periodic table, an electric charge generating layer 43 composed of a-Si:H, and a surface reforming layer 45 composed of an amorphous hydrogenated silicon carbide having a carbon atom content of 0.30<=(x)<=0.80, and which is mounted on a drum conductive supporting substrate 41 such as Al etc. Thus, the photosensitive body 1 has a surface roughness of 0.05-0.5mumS. When said layers are provided on the substrate having the surface roughness of 0.05-0.5mumS, the photosensitive body having good sticking property against the substrate without defect of the photosensitive body, and good image are obtd. |
