The device comprises a rotary mould (41) surrounded by an annular cooling chamber (42). A non-rotary annular box (47) surrounds the external wall (43) of the annular chamber. Two annular nozzles (50, 51), integral with the box (47), open each into a passage (57, 58) provided between the external wall (43) and at least one non-rotary wall. The fluid emerging from the nozzles, after it has gone through the passage, enters the chamber (42) through orifices (44, 45) preceded by an annular inlet area (46). The invention also relates to a method for introducing a fluid into an annular cooling chamber of a rotary mould for continuous casting of metals or alloys such as steels. |
