PURPOSE:To elongate the life of a metal pressure container having the inside coated with a lining by removing a defective portion in the container, embedding a cold welding material thereinto, and then applying a lining material to the portion. CONSTITUTION:A lining 2 for a crosshatched portion 1 is cut out, and a recessed portion left after removal is appropriately modified to a simple configuration. A cold welding material 3 of a curable resin which can weld a plurality of materials without heating is embedded into the recessed portion, and then the surface of the cold welding material 3 is smoothly finished such as by a grinder. A fresh anticorrosive material 4 is applied onto the cold welding material 3 and welded to the surrounding lining material 2 to complete the lining, and thus the amendment is finished. In case a large portion is corroded, a reinforcement 5 can be welded to the outer periphery of the container for reinforcement thereof. |
