The invention relates to a continuous-flow heater, especially for an electrical coffee machine, having a water tube and a connecting hose, which is fastened thereto and consists of an elastomeric material, an end section of the water tube, which is used as a connecting sleeve, overlapping in the longitudinal direction an end section of the hose which is deformed elastically for fastening. It is intended to create such a continuous-flow heater in the case of which hoses are reliably fastened, with simple construction. In order to achieve this object it is proposed to use an additional connecting sleeve (30) in the form of a tubular section which extends over at least a portion of the overlapping length, the end section of the hose (24, 26, 28) being clamped in a sealing manner between the two connecting sleeves (22, 30) by plastic deformation of at least one of the two connecting sleeves (22). The additional connecting sleeve (30) is preferably inserted into the end section of the hose (24, 26, 28), and the end section (22) of the water tube (12, 14) is deformed plastically. <IMAGE>
