PURPOSE:To restart a synchronizing sound recording without a rewinding operation by making reproduction into a temporarily standing-by condition at the position in case the reproducing condition of a tape for reproduction is inter-musical programs and at the position to rewind up to the beginning of the musical program, in case the condition is on the way of the reproduction of the musical program, when a tape for a sound recording comes to be a tape end during the synchronizing sound recording. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 7, in which a tape end detecting signal is supplied from a tape end detecting circuit 5, outputs a temporary stopping signal to a reproducing side mechanical audio circuit 1, makes reproduction into a temporary standing-by condition when an inter-musical program detecting signal is supplied, and outputs a rewinding signal and rewinds a cassette tape for reproduction when the signal is not supplied. Thus, when the tape comes to the beginning of the musical program on the way of reproduction, an inter- musical program detecting circuit 3 outputs an inter-musical program detecting signal and the control circuit 7 makes the reproduction into a temporary standing-by condition. Thereafter, when a user removes a cassette tape for sound recording, loads the new cassette tape for sound recording and operates an operating key 8 for starting a synchronizing sound recording, the control circuit 7 outputs a driving signal to a reproducing side mechanical audio circuit 1 and a sound recording side mechanical audio circuit 4.
