PURPOSE:To improve sharpness and graininess of image by controlling a developed silver amount of the silver image which is obtd. by processing with a prescribed exposure to <=95% total amount of the applied silver contd. in the photosensitive emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The developed silver amount of the silver image is <=95% the total amount of the applied silver contd. in the photosensitive emulsion. Said silver image is obtd. by over-exposing the exposure capable of giving density of fogging value +0.1 by 2.5 in terms of log E at the time of processings such as developing-fixing-water washing-drying. Said developed silver amount obtd. by over-exposing by 2.5 in terms of log E is preferably 93%-50%, further preferably 90%-70% on the weight basis of the total silver amount of the applied photosensitive emulsion. Thus, the image having sufficient sharpness and graininess are obtd. |
