<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of grooves and to improve a magnetic linkage characteristic by adjacently arranging signal transmission coils connected to magnetic heads with the same azimuth on the core of a rotary transformer and providing short rings between the sets of coils. CONSTITUTION:A set of magnetic heads H1a and H2a and a set of magnetic heads H1b and H2b, both of which are adjacent and have different azimuth angles by 90 deg., are disposed on a rotary drum 15. A video tape MT is wound at the angle of >=270 deg. and driven. The signal transmission coils L1a and L1b or L2a and L2b connected to the set of heads H1a and H1b with the same azimuth or the set of H2a and H2b with the same azimuth are paired and adjacently arranged on the grooves G1-G5 pierced on the surface confronted with circular magnetic cores 18 and 19 in the rotary transformer 17 which rotates with an alternate long and short dash line as an axis. The short rings SR are disposed between the sets. The one end of the coil L is grounded and the other is connected to an amplifier 21. Simultaneously the input of a terminal 23 grounds the coil L through a switching element 22 which shorts and controls the coil L, whereby the adverse influence of a signal leaking from the adjacent transmission coils can be prevented.</p> |
