PURPOSE:To perform the laser beam machining under noncontact state by providing a couple of movable workpiece supporting jigs to support a machining part of a workpiece from the lower part and maintaining the positional relation with respect to a machining head to interlock and fix these. CONSTITUTION:A couple of rollers 8 to support the workpiece 3 from the lower part with an optical axis C in-between supporting pins 2 of a table 1 are provided and the positional relation between the rollers 8 and the machining head 4 is maintained and these rollers 8 and head 4 are arranged so as to be interlocked and fixed. When the head 4 is moved in the X direction, the rollers 8 are also moved integrally and when the head 4 is moved in the Y direction, the positions of the rollers 8 are fixed. Since the machining part of the workpiece 3 is supported on both sides of the lower side of the optical axis C, the distance between the head 4 and the workpiece 3 is maintained constant and a contact type sensor becomes unnecessary. Accordingly, the laser beam machining under noncontact state is made possible by this method. |
