摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To suppress a slip between a pulley and a belt of a continuously variable transmission and improve the durability of the belt by providing a control means adjusting the clutch pressure in response to the output of a detection means detecting the slip condition of a V-belt. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an engine 1 is connected to the first pulley of a continuously variable transmission via a clutch 2 and a gear box 3, the rotation of the first pulley is transerred to the second pulley via a V-belt and transferred to wheels 6. Rotating speeds of the input shaft 81 of the first pulley and the output shaft 82 of the second pulley are detected by rotation speed sensors 106, 107 respectively and inputted to a control means 101. The opening of an accelerator pedal 110 is detected by an accelerator sensor 108 and inputted to the control means 101. The slip condition is detected by these sensors, the speed change ratio fixed position to obtain the adequate slip level is calculated, the target clutch pressure is calculated, and the half-clutch state is attained so that the excessive slip condition is not generated on the V-belt.</p>
