PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a drug, especially a remedy for ulcer, from an inexpensive raw material in high yield at a low cost, by reacting a haloketone derivative with an imidic acid derivative and liquid ammonia, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula III can be produced by reacting the haloketone derivative of formula I (X is Cl or Br; R<1> is lower alkyl) with the imidic acid derivative of formula II (R<2> is lower alkyl, aryl or aroyl) and an ammonium salt or liquid ammonia. The ammonium salt is preferably ammonium formate, ammonium acetate, etc., and its amount is 0.8-100mol, preferably 1-20mol per 1mol of the compound of formula I. In the case of using liquid ammonia, its amount is preferably 3-50pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the compound of formula I. The reaction temperature is usually 0-150 deg.C. |
