Pressure-medium cylinder with rolling seals which are provided with transverse grooves for fibre length compensation and are made of metallic spring materials and also have a sliding bush for the static compensation of two rolling diaphragms. Since the rolling seals of the application are not made of elastomeric spring materials but of metallic spring materials, the peripheral lengths of the outer gap and the inner gap which enclose a rolling seal, such as, for example, the periphery of the cylinder inner wall or the undulating periphery of the piston, must be the same size. Furthermore, the rolling seals must be constructed in such a way that, upon transfer of the outer leg to the inner leg position, the theoretical fibre lengths must be present in the rotation form. The problem was solved firstly by the circumferential surface of the piston being of undulating design and by the undulation length being equal to the peripheral length of the cylinder inner wall; secondly by the diaphragm foil of a rolling seal being provided over the entire periphery with transverse grooves which permit fibre length compensation and furthermore by the outer gap surfaces of the pressure-medium cylinder likewise being provided with transverse grooves; and thirdly by a sliding bush being used for the static compensation of two rolling seals.
