PURPOSE:To supply grains of rice from a low position, in a rice mixer for mixing grains of rice in a mixing tank by the rotation of a spiral body, by a method wherein a grain-of rice supply through is connected to the grain-of-rice supply port opened on the peripheral wall of the rice mixing tank to be allowed to communicate with the spiral body. CONSTITUTION:A spiral body 8 and a supply spiral body 22 are driven and a servo motor 30 is reversed to upwardly move a shutter 28 to open a grain-of- rice supply port 24. Grains of rice are lifted by a rice lifter 35 to be made to flow to the hopper 25 connected to a grain-of-rice supply trough 23 from a grain-of-rice flow-down trough 36. The grains of rice are supplied to the lower part of a rice mixing tank 4 from the grain-of-rice supply trough 23 through the grain-of-rice supply port 24 by the rotary action of the supply spiral body 22. The grains of rice are continuously supplied to the lower part of the rice mixing tank 4 which becomes empty by the rice lifting action of the spiral body 8. When a full amount detector detects a full amount, an alarm 33 emits an alarm and the supply of the grains of rice from the rice lifter is stopped. Since the height of the rice lifter 35 can be made low, the rice lifter undergoes no restriction due to the height of a building. |
