Cycloaliphatic alcohol derivatives of formula: in which: R denotes a natural amino acid residue, Y denotes hydrogen or an acetyl, propionyl or benzoyl radical or forms with R a 2-pyrrolidinone ring A denotes a cycloaliphatic radical, and processes for obtaining them. These compounds can be employed as medications, especially in the disorders of lipidaemia, cholesterolaemia and in the treatment of the ailments resulting therefrom.
