The function of the trimming handle is to make trimming a windsurfing sail easier, and to avoid painful impressions of the rope end on the hand, or even injuries to the hand. This function is performed by the ergonomically shaped grip and the integrated belaying clamps. The trimming handle is an external trimming aid, and is thus not integrated into the rigging of the sailboard.
