<p>A control point for an electric powered entertainment system, e.g. electric vehicles driven by children, has a load operated floor panel with safety interlock activated by the weight of an adult. This ensures that a responsible adult is at the control point before the power drives can be applied. The control point is fitted with a console, as a height only accessed by an adult, and with a screen to provide a programmed sequence which the adult has to operate, e.g. by touch screen, to acknowledge responsibility and to release the interlocks. The control point includes an emergency stop control. Leaving the control point also initiates emergency stop.</p> |
