<p>PURPOSE:To exactly detect a support by providing a grip part separately from a measuring part in which an electrode plate has been contained, and providing a switch on this grip part. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 consists of a rectangular parallelopiped-shaped measuring part 10 of a thin type, and a grip part 11 which has been provided projectingly from the surface of this measuring part 10, and a substrate 5 on which an electrode plate 2 and a detecting circuit have been mounted, etc. are contained in the measuring part 10. Also, an operation controlling switch 3 is installed to the side face of the grip part 11, and a light emission display means 4 for displaying a fact that the capacitance has been varied is provided on the surface of the measuring part 10. Accordingly, a hand for holding the housing so as to pinch the grip part 11 is separated from the electrode plate 2 which has been installed in the measuring part 10, therefore, an influence by this hand is scarcely exerted on the capacitance detected by the electrode plate 2, and a support can be detected exactly.</p> |
