DNA BASE SEQUENCE OF GENE SPECIFICALLY MANIFESTED BY INSULINOMA AND CODING PROTEIN THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a protein having a specific amino acid sequence and useful as a drug for pancreatic diseases such as diagnosis of insulinoma or pancreatic carcinoma. CONSTITUTION:A protein having the amino acid sequence of formula I and formula II (the sequence of 108 amino acids is omitted). The sequence of whole bases (487 bases) of a gene specifically manifesting with rat insulinoma induced with streptozocin-nicotinamide or alloxan-nicotinamide has been determined by using a complementary DNA library. Furthermore, the sequence of whole amino acids (145 acids) of the protein has been estimated.
