To enable the driver of a motorised caravan to be in the open air whilst driving, three different constructions have been hitherto possible, viz. - 1. To have a roof for the cab which drops backwards so that it rests over the living accommodation (1). - 2. To have a sliding roof (36) which can be pushed backwards over the living accommodation. - 3. To have a removable roof which is fitted over the spare wheel at the rear of the vehicle. - A new solution is to have a hood-type roof which folds backwards over the vehicle roof, or forwards over the windscreen. |
