A camera dolly for film or television recording with a truck and a boom positioned on a standard, that turns about a vertical axis and swivels about a horizontal axis; to both sides of its swivelling axis the boom has at one end a platform for the cameraman with a mount for a film or television camera, and at the other end a counterweight that can be moved along the longitudinal axis of the boom. On the upper side (2) of the truck (1) there is a bogie (4), in which the standard (3) is mounted so that it can turn about an axis (x-x) that is perpendicular to the plane (y-y) of the truck (1). The standard (3) is in turn mounted in the bogie (4) so that it can swivel about a swivelling axle that can turn with the latter and is parallel to the plane (y-y) of the truck (1). The swivelling axle (5) is connected to the bogie (4) or mounted in it, and has means (17) for swivelling the standard (3) about the swivelling axle (5), in the form of a slewing drive. <IMAGE>
