<p>PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization of a circuit scale by using a start bit non-detecting signal and a data synchronizing clock generation end signal, and switching the operation mode of first and second counting means, and setting the operating condition of the second counting means. CONSTITUTION:Switching of an operation mode of the first counting means 12 and the second counting means 13, and setting of the operating condition of the second counting means are executed by providing a mode switching means 10 and using a start bit non-detecting signal or a start bit detecting signal from a start bit deciding means 11, or a data synchronizing clock generation end signal from the second counting means 13, and the first counting means and the second counting means are shared both for detecting a start bit and generating a data synchronizing clock. In such a way, by using efficiently two counting means, the circuit scale can be miniaturized.</p> |
