Date Mar. 17, 1983.This invention relates to the thermal and wear resistant, tough alloy at elevated temperatures. The alloy consists essentially of carbon, chromium, iron, titanium, aluminum, tungsten, molybdenum, silicon, manganese, cobalt and balance nickel, further the alloy includes optionally at least one selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, niobium and tantalum, further the alloy includes optionally at least one selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, niobium and tantalum, further the alloy includes optionally at least one selected from the group consisting of boron and zirconium. The alloy according to this invention are widely utilized to serve as the alloy for build-up weld and for guide shoe used in the hot rolling apparatus for fabricating seamless steel pipe.
