An advanced treatment method of cokes wastewater that has not been completely treated by conventional methods is provided, and a wastewater treatment method is provided to reduce the area required in a wastewater treatment apparatus by treating COD materials, heavy metals, suspended solids, organic matters, etc. at a high speed using a small treatment apparatus. A wastewater treatment method comprises: a first step of injecting hydrogen peroxide into wastewater in an injection quantity ranged from more than 0 g/l to not more than 10 g/l to oxidize portions of heavy metals and organic matters in wastewater; a second step of electrolyzing the oxidized portions of the heavy metals and organic matters by using an iron or zinc electrode as a soluble anode electrode, setting a constant-current to a range of 10 to 50A, or setting a constant-voltage to a range of 5 to 40 V; a third step of flocculating flocs using 100 to 500 ppm of an iron- or aluminum-based inorganic flocculant as an inorganic flocculant or 1 to 5 ppm of an organic flocculant; a fourth step of magnetizing the flocculated flocs using a magnetite(Fe3O4) powder or magnetic sludge in the amount range of not less than 0.5 g/l to less than 5 g/l; and a fifth step of subjecting the magnetized and flocculated flocs to a high-gradient magnetic separation process set to a magnetic field range of 1T to 5T. |
