PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a high sensitivity and less tendency for generating coloring fog and color turbidity by incorporating a highly reactive yellow coupler and a silver halide particle having a high silver chloride content to a silver halide emulsion layer, and a specific compd. to a non- photosensitive layer respectively. CONSTITUTION:The highly reactive yellow coupler having a relative coupling reaction rate RM/RN of >=0.5 is incorporated to the silver halide emulsion layer. And, the silver halide particle having >=80mol% silver chloride content is incorporated to said layer. The compd. shown by the formula is incorporated to a non-photosensitive layer as a stain inhibitor. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each 1-5C alkyl group, (n) is 1-20, (k) is 1 or 2, A is -CO-X-R3 or -OY, -NR4R5 group, etc., (wherein X is -O-, -NR4-, Y is R3, or -CO-R3, R3-R5 are each H, alkyl or aryl group, etc.). Thus, as the titled material contains the highly reactive yellow coupler, the silver halide particle having the high silver chloride content, and the compd. shown by the formula, the titled material having the high developing speed and capable of reducing color turbidity is obtd. |
