PURPOSE:To execute switching of a reproducing means of a video or a voice of a transmission side, and control of various operation, by constituting the titled system so that an I/O converter generates a signal for changing an operating state of a video/voice reproducing device provided on the transmission side, by operating a terminal side selecting means. CONSTITUTION:An output of a video/voice reproducing device 1 of a transmission side is supplied to an optical transmitting/receiving device 2 through an I/O converter 3, and a video or sound signal is supplied to an equipment of a reception side by a transmission line 8 by an optical fiber. In order to input an optical signal to the equipment of the reception side, an optical splitter 9 is used, and it becomes possible to correspond to many receiving equipments. Also, by a signal from a terminal side selecting means 12 provided on the reception side, a control signal is sent out to the optical fiber line 8 from the terminal side, and also, this signal is supplied to a selecting means 4 through the I/O converter 3 of the transmission side, by which a control of switching, etc. of a device of the transmission side can be executed. Also, from the transmission side, as well, the video/voice reproducing device 1 and the terminal side device can be controlled through the selecting means 4 by a controller 4a. |
