<p>PURPOSE:To improve copying efficiency by effectively making use of sorter housing bins in a sorter where copying paper from a copying machine is distributed and housed. CONSTITUTION:When the number of copies is less than the half of the number of housing bins 36 of a sorter 3, copies are at least housed in the first bins on every other bins, and after the copying paper contained in the first housing bins is saturated, copying paper is respectively housed in the second bins and the third housing bins, etc., respectively succeeding to the first bins. Hereby, it is not required to take out the copying paper while interrupting the copying operation when the housing bins reach the saturated number of copies. Further, in the whole of the housing bins, taking as one unit housing bins reaching the saturated number of copies and succeeding housing bins not reaching the saturated number of copies, the copying paper has been distributed from the upper to the lower parts, so that an arranging operation for copying paper can be improved.</p> |
