PURPOSE:To easily change the size of a screen and to attain the multiformat of a variable size by converting the contents of an address counter for reading an image by the output of a look up table. CONSTITUTION:The output contents of the Y axis address counter 3 are converted by the look up table LUT5 for the Y axis, applied to an image data memory 1 and the output contents of the X axis address counter 4 are converted by the LUT6 for the X axis and applied to the memory 1. A part (several bits) of the outputs of the LUTs 5, 6 is respectively connected to theirputs of the LUTs 5, 6 and the values of these several bits are the values for deciding screens to be multi-displayed in the multiformat. A CPU7 transmits image format data required for the LUTs 5, 6 and data for an enlargement or a reduction and stores and a gate 8 transmits display prohibiting data outputted from the LUTs 5, 6 to the image memory 1. In such a way, the contents of the LUTs 5, 6 are properly set, thereby, the multiformat can be formed. |
