A method for prognostication of ventricular disturbances of cardiac rhythm after cardiac infarctionconsists in that the day and night monitoring of electrocardiogram is carried out, QT ranges are studied and QT range duration is determined for the day and night, index of standard deviation of RR range (SDNN-i) is determined for the day and night. The basal frequency of cardiac beats, and index of regulatory system tension is determined. Additionally the cardiac ultrasound study is carried out and the index of left ventricle myocard weight is determined. Depending on received values the development of adverse disturbances of cardiac rhythm are prognosticated.
