摘要 The invention relates to a constant-velocity swivel joint in the form of a sliding joint or a fixed joint, in which at least one novel retaining ring 19 for one of the joint inner parts, i.e. the ball cage 5 or the inner joint body 7, is provided as an axial stop, which is inserted into a circumferential groove 21 on the inside of the outer joint body 1, there being provided on the retaining ring 19 an annular stop face 20 for the joint inner part 5, 7 and this stop face can enter into at least linear contact with the joint inner part, and corresponding tapered supporting surfaces being formed on the retaining ring 19 and in the circumferential groove 21, their angles of taper opening towards the joint inner part 5, 7. In a special embodiment, the angle of taper of the supporting surface 22 corresponds to that of a tangential annular surface on the joint inner part 5, 7 in the region of contact with the retaining ring 19, which is situated, in particular, at the edge of the spherical outer surface of the joint inner part 5, 7. In particular, half the angle of taper of the supporting surface 22 can be approximately equal to or greater than the angle of sliding friction between the retaining ring 19 and the joint outer part 1, with the result that, when there is axial loading on the supporting surface 22, self-locking occurs. Joints with two retaining rings according to the invention are also proposed. <IMAGE>
