In order to prevent the possibility of a high static voltage occurring between the detonating cables (15, 16) and the housing (11) of an electrical fuze, which high static voltage leads to the detonating element detonating, a further cable (17) is provided which is electrically connected to the conductive housing (11). All three cables (15, 16, 17) are joined to one another outside the housing, for example by twisting, and are thus short-circuited. The short-circuit is not removed until after the ends of the three cables have been connected to a test set (27) or a detonating unit. In the event of twisting, the short-circuit can be removed by untwisting. <IMAGE>
