PURPOSE:To eliminate the adjustment of the pressing condition of a printing element portion of a printer head against a platen, by making an angle of the printer head to the platen variable. CONSTITUTION:A rotation shaft 103 is installed in the vicinity of a printing element portion of a head unit 102 having a printer head 101. Since at the ends of the rotation shaft 103 two head support levers 104a, 104b are provided with independently support the rotation shaft 103 to be rotatable, the rotation at the side of the head support lever 104a shown by arrows D1, D2 and that at the side of the head support lever 104b shown by arrows D3, D4 are carried out independently of each other. Any of the rotation motions shown by the arrows D1-D4 is carried out in a moment unit, for example, pressing forces E1, E2 at the both sides of the printer head 101 against a platen 108 become equal to each other. |
