PURPOSE:To reduce a transmission loss, to decrease the cost and to prevent the leaking of the output signal of a local transmitter from an antenna by laying an optical transmission line to connect the antenna and a converter part at the front stage of the converter part and connecting a tuner part to the rear stage of the converter part. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 21, a low noise amplifier 22 and an electro-optic converter 23 are provided out of doors as an outdoor unit. An opto-electric converter 25, a converter part 26, a tuner part 31 and a television receiver 32 for monitoring are provided indoors as an indoor unit. Since the section between the outdoor unit and the outdoor unit is connected with an optical fiber cable 24, the transmission loss due to the coaxial cable can be decreased. Since a local transmitter 27 is stored in the indoor unit, an inexpensive converter part 26 is sufficient. Further, since the antenna 21 and the local transmitter 27 are electrically and mechanically estranged and provided, the output signal of the local transmitter 27 is not leaked from the antenna 21 and radiated to the space. |
