The invention relates to a vehicle wheel with a pneumatic tyre in which the tyre has a bead core which is arranged off-centre in the bead of the tyre and can be moved in a rotatable fashion in the bead and the bead can be folded outwards. As a result, a customary belted radial tyre can be mounted without difficulty on a wheel rim with a large rim width and run-flat support on the wheel rim. The run-flat support is constructed to be sufficiently high and wide to fulfil the run-flat function. <IMAGE>
