PURPOSE:To eliminate abnormal bending in early stage, by controlling to interrupt the feeding operation temporarily upon detection of an abnormal bending of tape when the tape is being fed through a reel device in order to move a slider coupled with one end of a seatbelt. CONSTITUTION:In a seatbelt device where the seatbelt is mounted/dismounted automatically by moving a slider coupled with one end of the seatbelt along a guiderail, a tape 21 having proper rigidity and flexibility is inserted into the guiderail and a tape guide 26 continuous thereto. The tip of said tape 21 is stopped to the slider and the base side of the tape 21 is wound over a reel 23 in a reel device 20. A limit switch 28 for detecting an abnormal bending of the tape 21 is provided to said reel device 20 while facing against a tape guide space S. When the abnormal bending of tape 21 is detected during reverse rotation of the reel device 20, the reverse operation is interrupted temporarily. |
