PURPOSE:To ensure the prevention of water ingress from an opening to cabin inside in the construction wherein an extension from the opening to a body roof is fitted with a seal member, by fitting a seal member of thermosetting type to the boundary of the opening covered with the extension. CONSTITUTION:An opening 2 formed on a roof panel 1 is fitted with a canvas top 3. And a hollow seal lip 8 and a primary seal lip 9 are arranged on the upper surface of an extension part 7 connected to a drip channel part 6. In the aforesaid constitution, an area covered with the extension part 7 in the opening boundary 1a of the roof panel 1, for example, a part corresponding to the hollow seal lip 8 is provided with a secondary seal member 10 made from thermosetting resin. As a result, water entering at the contact surface of the primary seal member 9 and the roof panel 1 is shut off with the secondary seal member 10, thereby ensuring the prevention of water ingress from the opening 2 to the inside of a cabin. Also, the tension rigidity of a body roof is thereby enhanced. |
