PURPOSE:To manufacture various shape of corrugate horns inexpensively with high accuracy by making a horn cylinder and corrugation separately and assembling the corrugate horn while fitting the both. CONSTITUTION:The horn cylinder is formed by forming slots 3 to a plate 1 with a prescribed interval and forming the result into a conical form. Plates 4 of doughnut shape having a different diameter in following to the shape of the horn cylinder are fitted to the slot 3 and they are connected electrically by soldering or welding and fixed to form corrugation. End flanges 5, 6 are fitted to both ends of the cylinder by welding or the like and a reinforcement member 8 made of a urethane or the like is fitted to the outer circumferential face of the cylinder. Since the plate 1 forming the horn cylinder and the plate 4 forming corrugation are made separately, various shapes are manufactured inexpensively with high accuracy. |
