PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity, durability, potential stability, and the like by incorporating a specified diazo pigment in a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The disazo pigment having a structure of a general formula I (each of R1 and R2 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, nitro, or cyano, and each of A1 and A2 is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group) is incorporated in the photoconductive layer, thus permitting efficiencies of carrier generation and carrier transfer to be enhanced, and sensitivity, durability, and potential stability to be also enhanced by forming an organic semiconductor good in color sensitivity on the substrate of an electrophotographic sensitive body. |
