PURPOSE:To make laser welding possible so as to reduce the whole weight of an optical parts device lighter, by providing a fixing body made of a ferrous metal at a part of an optical parts box body made of a nonferrous metal, so which an optical parts are fixed by welding. CONSTITUTION:After optical fibers 4a and 4b are respectively inserted into and fixed with an adhesive to capillary tubes 3a and 3b, front ends of the fibers 4a and 4b are polished to mirror surfaces. Fixing bodies 2a 2b made of stainless stell are inserted into an optical parts box body 1 made of aluminum with pressure and they cannot be removed from the box body 1. The fixing bodies 2a and 2b have holes, which are a little larger than the capillary tubes 3a and 3b. When the tubes 3a and 3b are inserted into the holes and respectively fixed to the fixing bodies 2a and 2b by laser welding after a well-known method, after optical axis adjustment is made between an optical waveguide 5 and the optical fibers 4a and 4b, the optical fibers 4a and 4b are firmly fixed to the optical parts box body 1. |
