A wheel clamp comprises a hub (1), arms (2, 3 Fig. 1) pivotable on the hub so that the clamp can be folded, a combination lock for locking the arms at selected angular positions and selected lengths to fit a wheel, and hooks on the ends of the arms to fit round the wheel. These hooks are foldable for transportation and storage, and are adjustable to fit tyres of different widths. The lower arm hooks are formed by respective linkages, comprising a bottom link 11 hinged to the arm, an upright intermediate link 12 hinged on the link 11, an adjustable top link 9 hinged to the link 12 and connected to the arm 3, and a hook- forming check 10. The upper arm hook comprises an arm (22) pivoted on the upright arm (2), and a check (24) pivoted on the arm which is of adjustable length. The upper and lower hooks can be folded so as to lie flat against the respective main arms of the clamp. <IMAGE>
